Featherstone Nursery School is in a federation with Osborne Nursery School and although initially based at Featherstone, this post will require a willingness to work at both schools if the need arises.
Nursery Officer
36 hours per week, term time only
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: 8:15am-3:45pm
Wednesdays: 8:15am-4.45pm
Grade 2 pay scale: £22,737-£24,702 pro rata
Job start date: 06/01/2024 (or earlier if available)
We are looking to recruit a Grade 2 Nursery Officer to support our children during child initiated time and have a small key worker group of 2 year old children. You will need a good working knowledge of the EYFS, be able to make accurate observations and assessments of children, set up activities and experiences with support from teaching staff and establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of families and children.
You will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as use your own initiative, have a positive attitude, be reliable, enthusiastic and have high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour.
Applicants will be required to hold a relevant level 2 qualification or above in childcare.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
