Welcome to Featherstone Nursery School

We offer a creative, stimulating balance of child initiated and adult led activities and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We are committed to outdoor learning, with our large, varied outdoor space being freely accessible to children.

The children are divided into small groups of children where they have the support of a key worker, who is the main link between child, family and nursery. This personalised approach ensures that each child receives the necessary support and attention, promoting a sense of security and belonging. 

We have large garden areas and an on-site forest school which enable our children to experience and learn from the natural world, our weather and the seasons. They develop their language, confidence and social skills whilst making new discoveries and solving problems together.

We work closely with parents as you know your children the best. All families are offered an initial induction meeting and regular parent meetings and Play and Learn with your Child Days. We have an open door policy and your partnership is valued.  Together, we strive to lay a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth.
